We loved your band and I am glad I was able to find and hire you
for the dance.  Thanks for helping with the spotlight.  Everyone seemed to have a good time.  We got some great feedback from the other chapters.  One person in another chapter said it was the best band she remembers for the ball.

    Just wanted to shoot you a quick email to say thank you so much for making the reception so much fun!  So many things went wrong with the planning and I had strep throat on the actual wedding day....so it was a huge relief to get to the reception and have everything just be perfect!  Ya'll were WONDERFUL!!!  I hate that I didn't get a chance to say Hi and thank you in person....but the whole reception was just a blur.  All my family and friends said that they really enjoyed yall, and one of my friends that is planning her own wedding asked me for your information-- so hopefully I got you a little extra business!!  Thanks again, and God Bless.

The band was GREAT!   Everyone had a wonderful time.  We got plenty compliments on the band and music selection!  It rained the whole day but it didn't put a damper on the party. Please thank the band members again for us and let them know how much we enjoyed them!

When you get a chance please send me a calendar of the bands gigs in the coming weeks or months.  We'd like to come and relax and listen to some good music!

Thanks once again for all of your help and I surely will be recommending “Something Blue" to anyone looking for a band!

 I wanted to thank you on behalf of LIndsey and I both for doing such a wonderful job!!  Besides being so hot outside, the reception was a blast!!  I believe everybody had a great time.  A lady that works at our firm, Angela Beasley, especially had a great time.  I gave her all of your information and it sounds like they have booked you for this summer in Jackson, MS for her wedding.  How wonderful?!?!  Maybe we will get to personally thank you then.

What an INCREDIBILE band. We could not have had a better band play at our wedding. The dance floor was crowded the entire night. What a great variety of music, you guys interacted very well with the guests. What an amazing voice Jenny has.

 Dear Terry,

            Please accept this note as a sincere expression of my thanks and appreciation for an outstanding job by your band’s performance at our wedding reception November 27th at The Woman’s Club.  When I began planning our wedding, I was unable to find a band to play Thanksgiving weekend.  After several unsuccessful phone calls, someone gave me your name and suggested that I call you.  Working on strictly blind faith, I was unable to meet with you prior to the event and booked the entire engagement via e-mail. 

            The night of the wedding arrived and I must be honest and tell you that I had not even had time to worry about the music.  (All I remember from our e-mail exchanges was that the repertoire of your songs seemed like what we were interested in having at our reception.)  Beginning with the first song and until the very last, you met and far exceed any expectations I had in a band.  You managed to get people on the dance floor from the very beginning of the event and left the crowd cheering for more at the end of the night.

            Everyone I have talked to who attended has raved about Something Blue and I have had several people e-mail and call since that night with a request for your information.  

            Thank you so much for helping to make our wedding such a fabulous and memorable event.

Thank you for everything! We really had a blast. Even my Grandparents danced..twice. My dad had seen your band at another reception and insisted we booked you. I have to admit I was a little leary, I didn't really trust my dad's taste in music. But, your band played everything. You did a great job in catering to all the age groups. We all loved it when you got the kids got up to "jam". I thought the end of the night was just perfect with all of our friends tearing up the dancefloor. The guys even did the "gator", sorry! Again, thank you so much. You really made our reception the party and celebration I always wanted.

            Thanks for the follow-up email.  I got your first email and have been playing catch up for about a week.  We really enjoyed having you guys at the reception as well.  The music was awesome and ya’ll keep the party going.  Since Callie and I got back into town we’ve had lots of compliments and the reception and band so I am sure you will be back in East Texas soon.  The guest loved the variety of music and how well you guys could play.  We enjoy coming over to Louisiana to look at the old plantations.  When I get a chance to make it over again I will look you guys up. As I told you before I am in the video production business and a portion of our business is videotaping weddings.  We are revising the site and I was going to put a link to your bands website if that’s cool with you.

Has anyone had an experience with them? I was thinking of hiring them and saw they are from Baton Rouge. Thought I should ask the ever honest knotties for advice. TIA! :)
 
They are really good! I am having them for my wedding. I was very picky about choosing a band, but I had the chance to see them play at a wedding and was totally impressed. They are also very nice to work with. The lady Sandy who is one of the singers is great and also will sing for your ceremony at an extra charge. You might want to get in touch with them soon. They book fast! Good luck!
