Why a Variety Band?

Most well informed wedding clients ask for a "variety band", and for good reason. The guests at your wedding reception will, in all likelihood, be of all ages, coming from diverse locations and lifestyles, with varying musical tastes. The primary mission of your wedding reception band should be to provide entertainment that everyone will enjoy. All brides like to see the dance floor packed at all times. With a good variety band keeping the show well mixed, guests will enter and exit the dance floor according to their musical interests. A good variety band will monitor the response of the crowd and tailor the show accordingly.  Through years of experience, “Something Blue” has learned the recipe to entertaining those of all ages.
